On Rotation and Building AI

Next semester is going to be fun. I am going to be going back to work at Oracle for my third co-op rotation. This past semester has had a lot of homework and didn't leave much time for sleep. One of the things I like best about being on rotation is that I have a 40 hour work week, and then I get to do whatever I want when I get home. I can sleep, play games, cook better food, whatever.

This semester however, I am also going to be taking a class after work. Building Game AI, as far as I can tell, is a new class being offered and is something that I have been very interesting in for a long time. Even though it will mean I have homework when I come home from work, I am really looking forward to this class. I feel that only taking the one class will leave me with a lot of time to work on any projects that it might involve. I'm in the game design concentration so I am hoping that this will be an opportunity for me to strengthen my portfolio.
